University of Rochester - Radiology Facility

Large Photo Print Project

Thirty-six large landscape and architectural metal prints are displayed at the Radiology facility located at 200 East River Road. These images create an inviting environment for patients, visitors, and employees. Print sizes range from 45" x 30" up to 120" x 44". They are located throughout patient areas on the first and second floors of the Radiology facility. This area of the website presents some of these images to give you an appreciation of how they impact the facility.

First Floor Main Family Waiting Area Patient Greeting Stations

Each of the four patient greeting stations contain a 45" x 30" waterway print (MH059449, MH010918, MH012864, & MH011735). Bridges are the common theme for these images. First image is a sunrise of Taughannock Creek at the junction of Cayuga Lake. The second image was captured at Wolf Creek in Letchworth State Park. The last two images are foot bridges captured in Genesee Valley Park.

First Floor Main Family Waiting Area - Other Waterway Prints

Taughannock Falls (MH014198, 60"x24") and Long Pond Sunset (MH018947, 60"x24") prints are positioned on the glass window wall columns. The Freddy-Sue winter scene (MH018707, 45"x30") and the 3 Genesee River falls scenes (MH017601, MH017659, MH017624, each are 45" x30") reside in the other Patient Greeting stations. The Genesee River at Lake Ontario winter scene (MH019057, 120"x44") resides in the main walkway.

Second Floor Aisleway Seating Area Exiting the Elevators

Both images were taken from the Pont de Rennes Bridge crossing the Genesee River. The High Falls moon lit at blue hour print (MH010385, 45" x 30") was the view from the South side of the bridge and the Kodak building sunset landscape print (MH010395, 45" x 30") was the view from the North side of the bridge.

Second Floor Main Waiting Area

The large Braddock Bay Skyline print (MH017928, 120" x 32") resides on the back wall of the Patient Greeting Station. The other two prints; Charlotte Genesee Lighthouse (MH013362, 45"x30") & Braddock Point Lighthouse (MH011745, 45"x30") reside in the seating area.

Second Floor Patient Sub-Waiting Area

A more private sub-waiting and patient locker area contains two very large prints of Eagle Cliff Falls located in Havana Glen Park, Montour Falls, NY. The falls South view (MH012986, 120" x 42") resides on the south wall and the falls West view (MH013069, 120"x42") resides on the North wall.

Second Floor Conference Areas

Architecture type prints were requested for the conference rooms areas and immediate aisleways. The University of Rochester Campus and the Memorial Art Gallery; which is part of the U of R, was the main theme for choosing these prints. First Floor Patient Corridores

Monroe County Erie Canal was the theme chosen for placement of the prints in three of the four main patient corridors. Pittsford, Fairport, Brockport, and Spencerport are the Monroe County main Villages selected for these areas.
